  Passenger and School Bus Endorsement: In accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Regulations concerning the rule amendment on February 7, 2022. The guidelines specifically mention that a distinctive curriculum that involves behind-the-wheel and theory modules of training must be completed from an accredited training school in order to obtain a passenger or school bus endorsement. Therefore, it is mandatory that the driver-trainee must complete the theory assessment and achieve a total score of 80 percent. There is no required minimum number of instruction hours for theory or behind-the-wheel training for the passenger or school bus endorsement. Still, the driver-trainee must possess the requisite demonstrated proficiency in every element of the behind-the-wheel curriculum.
